Barbara Bottoms Phillips, age 59, passed away on Saturday, September 26, 2015. She was the daughter of the late Harold Milton and Maude Williams Bottoms.

Barbara was a dedicated employee with Halifax Regional Medical Center for 35 years and was currently working for the Town of Weldon.

She is survived by her fiancé, Danny Clay of the home; Barbie Clay Calhoun and her husband, Chuck, Daniel Clay and his wife, Diane, Brandon Clay and his wife, April, all of Roanoke Rapids; seven grandchildren; and her lifelong friends, Dena Wright, Jenny Lee, Clara Garris and Joanne Barrett.

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, September 30, 2015 at Crestview Memorial Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Rev. Randy Martin officiating. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 7:00 to 8:30 PM at Askew Funeral and Cremation Services.
